Swains Lockhouse Joins Canal Quarters Program

From C&O Canal Trust — After three years of fundraising, planning, and construction, the doors to the newly-rehabilitated Swains Lockhouse will swing open to guests this summer! Come join us for our open house Saturday, June 29 from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m! Please note that parking is limited; consider parking at Great Falls or Pennyfield and hiking/biking into Swains. Either option is about 3 miles on the towpath. (more)
